About our Internship Program

We offer law students the opportunity to gain practical experience while completing their studies.

Our internships provide real exposure to life in a busy law firm and are a great pathway into the profession. In fact, Jonathan, Natasha, Alec and Nicole all started their careers with us as interns.

Eligibility: Applicants must have completed at least six law units. We do not accept high school work experience students.

Hours: 9:30am to 5:00pm (Monday to Friday), with a one-hour lunch break.

Frequently Asked Questions
(FAQs)

Anyone who has commenced their tertiary legal studies (LLB, JD or PLT) may apply, as long as they have completed 6 law units. Unfortunately, we do not accept high school work experience placements, or Paralegal/Legal Studies students.

No (sorry!) – all our internships are voluntary.

Internships run for an initial period of four weeks, with interns coming into the office one or two full days per week.

Students who perform exceptionally may be offered further dates beyond their initial time-frame. We love taking students on board in an ongoing capacity, if the shoe fits!

Interns provide practical support to our lawyers and administrative team across a range of practice areas, including property law, litigation, intellectual property and entertainment law.

Tasks may include legal research, drafting correspondence, attending client meetings, administrative support and contributing to website and social media content.

To apply, please complete the form below and attach your CV and academic transcript.

Applications are now open!

Please note, we have a wait time of one to two months from your interview to begin an internship.
